Student Wellbeing

Student Wellbeing and Safeguarding

As an educator, your role in a student’s life goes beyond providing a great education. You’re a leader, role model, coach, advisor and facilitator of positive growth. Since students spend so much of their time at school, it’s up to you and your fellow educators to make school a positive and inspiring environment where children can do their best work and be their best selves.

Our Acting Head of Pastoral Care, Jean-Baptiste Gamain, supports our unique mission and values by guiding the wider team to ensure the wellbeing and safety of our students. As intellectual and emotional development go hand in hand, his team’s work is essential to the individual success of our students.

Jean-Baptiste’s team also signposts families to external resources in the event of recurring issues, and offers parent lectures and discussion groups. His department and their work has been recognised as Outstanding by Ofsted.
