Our Campus & Facilities

A Sustainable Learning Space

Governors, staff and students collaborate to achieve our Net Zero target by 2030. Our Green Committee, driven by students, was formed in 2017-2018 and our Green Symposium was born out of the COP26 summit in 2021. We believe in educating the next generation to think critically on how to tackle climate change, a global priority and support them to set the Agenda to make a difference.

The Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill occupies the site of the former Brent Town Hall, a magnificent Grade II-listed building completed in 1937 in the late Art Deco style, which was acquired from Brent Council by the French Education Charitable Trust in 2012. Our campus is set over five acres, with 12,000 square metres of refurbished and purpose-built spaces designed to serve the needs of all students in the two sections of the school. Our spacious and light-filled classrooms are outfitted with video projectors and Apple TV, and WiFi is accessible from everywhere through a dedicated, private server accessible only to our staff and students.

In the purpose-built Annex are located all the science, arts, and technology rooms, which boast the most modern learning equipment, as well as the canteen. The vast indoors gym (Paul Daisley Hall) and three outdoors sports courts complete our sports provision. Our buildings are surrounded by green spaces and magnificent trees that we respect and care for. This natural environment provides a wonderful experience during playtime and outdoor “forest school” lessons.

All of our spaces are fully accessible through ramps and elevators in line with our goal of inclusiveness/inclusivity. We invite you to click here to embark on a virtual video-tour of our facilities.

We can rent out some of our spaces for private functions.

Canteen

Lunchtime is a time when we can all socialise and meet up over great food in our large canteen.

Outdoor Learning

Our campus sits on 5 green acres, a real luxury just 2 stops from central Baker Street. Our young learners benefit from our on site Forest School programme and all older students benefit from modern outdoor facilities such as our Multi Use Games Area (MUGA). We believe that our students’ access to nature reduces anxiety, and increases creativity.
