10th Anniversary, a Decade of Excellence
In 2025, Lycée International Winston Churchill celebrates ten years of bilingual and international education in the heart of London. Since opening its doors in 2015, we have grown into a dynamic community of more than 800 students representing over 40 nationalities, united by a shared spirit of curiosity, respect, and ambition.
Over the past decade, we have established ourselves as a benchmark for academic excellence and innovation in bilingual education. Guided by the philosophy of Excellence Through Care, we combine the rigour of French and international programmes with a culture of wellbeing, creativity, and integrity.
This anniversary year is an opportunity to honour that journey and the people who have shaped it. A series of celebrations, including a vibrant Community Festival, a special Commemoration Ceremony, and our first Fundraising Dinner, brought together students, families, alumni, staff, donors, and supporters to reflect on a decade of shared achievement and look ahead to the next chapter in our story.
Our Fundraising Dinner, generously hosted by the French Ambassador at her Residence, was a particularly special occasion to come together and celebrate our school community. Thanks to the generosity of those who attended and contributed, a significant amount of money was raised to support the development of our bursary and scholarship programmes, helping make an excellent bilingual education more accessible to a wider range of families.
As we celebrate this milestone, we do so with gratitude and pride. This anniversary is not just about looking back, but about celebrating growth, progress, and the bright future that lies ahead.
Fundraising Dinner at the French Residence
On September 22nd, 2026 , we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Lycée International Winston Churchill with our first fundraising dinner, an intimate gathering generously hosted by Her Excellency Madame Hélène Duchêne, Ambassadrice de France, at her Residence. We were delighted to welcome parents of the school, alumni parents, students, donors and supporters. It was a privilege to gather in such an elegant setting to celebrate our school. All the funds raised will allow us to further expand our bursary and scholarship programmes to support our current families as well as attract new families. Our goal is to make an excellent bilingual education more accessible.

As part of our 10th anniversary celebrations, the Community Festival brought together students, families, alumni, and staff for a joyful day on campus. This special event celebrated our diversity and spirit of togetherness through music, performances, creative workshops, and international food stalls reflecting our many cultures. More than a celebration, it was a tribute to the values that define us: curiosity, care, and connection, and to the vibrant community that makes our school so unique.

The Commemoration Ceremony stand as the highlight of Lycée International Winston Churchill’s 10th anniversary year, a moment to reflect on the school’s remarkable journey since its inauguration in 2015. Held under the high patronage of Hélène Duchêne, French Ambassador to the UK, the ceremony welcomed former President François Hollande back to the Wembley campus to mark this milestone alongside students, families, alumni, and distinguished guests. Through speeches, student-led discussions, and moments of reflection, the event celebrated a decade of growth, achievement, and shared values, and looked ahead to the next chapter in our story of Excellence Through Care.
