Dear students and parents,

The dedicated Careers Team at Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill (LIL) supports and motivates all secondary school students both in the French Baccalauréat (Bac) and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), to shape their career goals beyond LIL and assist them in their applications to top universities around the world.

We have created this Hub to centralise and communicate key careers resources, events, deadlines, and updates from the Team throughout the year.

Support and encourage students in the discovery and development of their personal, educational and professional plans beyond LIL
Tailored, individualised meetings throughout the year - between 5-10 hours spent with each student on their applications
Expert support for applications worldwide - U.K., U.S., Canada, France, Switzerland, Spain, Netherlands, etc.
Over 40 presentations per year - internal and external
Careers Coffee Chats - mornings dedicated to parents to ask us any questions they may have (with teas and croissants!)
University Application Preparation (UAP) Week - more than 45 dynamic workshops and informative presentations specifically designed for Year 12 students (for example: support on Personal Statement, Lettre de Motivation, CV, managing stress, Oxbridge, IELTS, interviews, applications to countries in the U.K., EU and Worldwide)
Roadmap 2 University (R2Uni) Days - a series of interactive workshops designed to help Year 11 students explore different higher education and career paths as well as produce a roadmap to achieve their goals
Open door policy with appointments and drop ins available for students and parents (adapted for Zoom)
Careers Curriculum delivered throughout secondary education
Close relationship to LIL graduates - hosting an annual Alumni Day event for current students and working with a dedicated Alumni Committee
Student Careers Team (SCT) supporting the Careers Team and peers with resources, events and more
