BEHIND THE SCENE: FAREWELL CEREMONY 2019
We went behind the scenes at last week’s Terminale Farewell Ceremony to see all the emotions of the students as they prepared for their big moment!
JOBS OF THE FUTURE FORUM
Saturday 27 April 2019, Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill organised an informative forum about tomorrow's jobs entitled "Tomorrow Starts Today"
Lycée international de Londres Winston Churchill and its Parents’ Association APLIL brought together professionals of strategic industries during a JOB FORUM to showcase tomorrow’s jobs and the changes taking place in today’s job market. Students will have the unique opportunity to meet professionals at the heart of this transformation.
Taking place on Lycée International de Londres’ campus, this pivotal forum featured high-level 30-minute conferences and over 15 interactive workshops on Artificial Intelligence, longevity, digitalisation, women in science, Finance, transport...
This day is for 4e to Terminale students from Lycée Charles de Gaulle and Lycée International Winston Churchill and for 3e CFBL students.
Recently, we were honoured that the editor-in-chief of Le Monde, Emmanuel Davidenkoff, visited our school to talk about the digital revolution that is sweeping the education sector.
Technology as a tool of learning
Following a tour of the Lycée, Emmanuel Davidenkoff talked about our modern and dynamic teaching methods. M. Davidenkoff said he was impressed by the use of technology as “a tool to learn, and to learn differently.” He tells the story of a conversation with a Lycée pupil who told him that the most important change for him was the use of an iPad, because it enabled him to “communicate easily” with his teachers.
