Engaging bodies and minds after classwork is done
We currently offer two-dozen after-school activities, ranging from numerous sports (including football, basketball, judo, Capoeira, fencing, and running) to drama, arts, and technical hobbies such as computer coding and robotics.
Students joining the after-school programme (ASP) are also involved in friendly games (basketball), tournaments (AEFE Football Tournament for 6ème and 5ème), competitions, and open training (Laser Run, fencing, etc.), both inside or outside the school.
Primary ASP and daycare
The ASP for Primary is £156 per term (snacks included) and runs between 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm (Monday to Friday). It is essential that parents inform us if their child intends to miss an ASP session.
Primary students will be collected by their respective ASP Leader from the Primary playground at the start of the ASP class and accompanied back to the main reception.
Please ensure you collect your child no later than 5:00 pm. If you are late your child will be placed in the Garderie (daycare), which is open until 6:00 pm and carries an additional charge (see below).
Garderie is structured to allow parents greater flexibility. Garderie sessions are from 3:15 pm to 6:00 pm and the charge will be £10/session. The first 15 minutes are not chargeable.
Please note that there is no pro-rata to the garderie session charge.
The Secondary ASP costs £136 per term, except for Serge Betsen Rugby and Football, which cost £156 per term.
Please remember that a minimum of students is required for an ASP club to run. There is also a maximum capacity for most of the clubs.
Our partner The Art-Insight offers a range of onsite individual music lessons. The one-to-one instruction is offered as part of the after-school programme within the school grounds from 3:00 pm to 5:45 pm on Monday to Friday.
The Art-Insight provides a unique and modern pedagogy for music students, based on a technical approach and background knowledge shared by highly-trained teachers. The aim is to enjoy and create music together, as well as to share the value of arts.
The Art-Insight has a wide selection of instrumental lessons available, including violin, flute, guitar, piano, clarinet, drums, and singing. They also encourage suggestions, so if there is an instrument missing from the list above, you are welcome to put in a request and they will try their best to accommodate it.
For those who wish to register for music lessons, please send an email to The Art Insight firstname.lastname@example.org stating your name and age, desired instrument, and length of lesson.
The lesson fees for music are as follows:
