Through individual and collective learning initiatives, we encourage our students to think positively about themselves and recognise and value their own talents and those of others.

Creative Thinking

They develop innovative lesson plans to help each child discover their own learning style, talents, and potential.

Integrity

Teamwork is a key part of our school our school activities. This fosters a sense of community and solidarity both within the school, and the greater community, from positive collaboration and healthy competition in the classroom to volunteering and community involvement. We appreciate the involvement and support of our parents and broader community.

Our History

The Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill was officially named in 2015 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, who passed away on 24 January 1965. This inaugural year was significant because it marked the 75th anniversary of two key historical events: Winston Churchill’s first appointment as British Prime Minister and the Battle of Britain. The name of the school was chosen in recognition of Winston Churchill’s vital contribution to the Allied victory in World War II and the 1944 Liberation of France.

By naming the new French international lycée after Winston Churchill today, 50 years after his death, we remember the immensely important role he played in France’s past and make his memory present in our country’s future. We hope our new students will feel inspired by the legacy of this great historical figure. Arnaud Vaissié, Chair of the Board of Governors
